Escándalo is a 48-foot Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge, a flybridge motor yacht for groups of up to 12 by day or four staying aboard, suited to birthdays, bachelor parties, family reunions and honeymoons. She is based at Marina Vallarta and can also board at Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz or at Marina Nuevo Vallarta.

The model joins inside and out: a sliding door opens the shaded cockpit into a saloon with a long sofa and a dinette, the galley and its island counter opposite, and steps climb from the cockpit to the flybridge. Forward, cushions cover the bow under a Bimini. Air conditioning, a smart TV and Starlink Wi-Fi come with the boat.

Below are three cabins and two bathrooms. A crew of three, a captain and a tour guide among them, runs the day, and water floats, a paddleboard and snorkel gear are aboard for swims on the way to Los Arcos, Yelapa or the whales in season. An open bar with snacks, a chef's lunch or dinner and a videographer can be added.

What sets her apart is the covered flybridge with its tables, a shaded place to eat above the bay.

The 480 Sedan Bridge spreads the day over three levels that open into each other. Aft is the cockpit, with seating across the transom and molded steps up to the flybridge. Through the sliding glass door is the saloon: a long sofa on one side, the galley with an island breakfast bar on the other, and a dinette forward by the windows. Side decks lead forward to a sun pad on the foredeck.

Up top, a U-shaped settee and table sit forward of a centre-line helm, with a wet bar beside them. On this boat all three outdoor spaces are shaded: the flybridge is covered and set with two tables, the bow has two cushioned loungers under a Bimini, and the covered cockpit aft has a cushioned bench and a large table, the usual place for lunch at anchor.
