Ally Cat is a 56-foot Fountain Pajot sailing catamaran for groups of 10 that can take up to 50 guests. She has two wide trampolines forward, a cockpit table under a hardtop and a saloon with a lounge corner and a bar.
A captain, a chef and a bartender run the day. The chef makes breakfast and a lunch of chicken fajitas on board, and the open bar pours Pacifico and Corona. There are two bathrooms and a freshwater shower.
A floating mat, paddleboards, snorkel gear, fishing gear and a jump platform come aboard, with a JL Audio sound system. She sails from Marina Riviera Nayarit at La Cruz and can also board at Marina Vallarta and Marina Nuevo Vallarta. She is offered for birthdays and bachelor parties. The Marquises 56 was drawn by Berret-Racoupeau as a bluewater cruising catamaran, 17 metres long and 8 metres wide, and the beam is what a day aboard is about. Forward, two large trampolines stretch between the bows, the place to lie in the sun or watch the water pass beneath.
Aft, the cockpit sits under a hardtop around a long table, with the helm beside it. Inside, the saloon has a settee and a lounge corner, a bar and a raised galley, so the food and the drinks are made a few steps from the table.
