Koa is a 33-foot sport yacht for groups of up to 12 who want to fish, snorkel or ride a board in one outing on Banderas Bay. The rate covers eight guests, and up to four more can join for a fee each.

She runs on twin 600 hp Mercury outboards and carries a 700-litre fuel tank. On board are fishing rods and tackle, snorkel gear and towels; a wing foil and an eFoil can be arranged. A shaded lounge, an interior cabin with seating, a full bathroom and a freshwater shower are on board.

Beer, tequila, soft drinks, water, espressos and fresh fruit are included, and a Bluetooth sound system plays your music. Charters run from two hours. She is based at Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz and can also board guests at Marina Vallarta or Marina Nuevo Vallarta. She suits fishing trips, surf trips, wellness retreats, weddings and proposals. What sets her apart is the power: 1,200 horsepower on a 33-foot hull.

Forward, a grey diamond-quilted sun pad spreads across the bow with seating and built-in speakers, open to the bay ahead. Behind it, under the black T-top, a second lounge sits ahead of the console.

The deck aft is open teak-look flooring with a bench at the stern, clear for fishing or for stretching out. A full-service bar with a cappuccino machine keeps drinks coming, and music plays through the Bluetooth sound system.
