Number Juan is a 100-foot Azimut motor yacht from 2003 for a big celebration: up to 40 guests by day, or 12 staying aboard overnight. She is based at Puerto Los Cabos Marina in San José del Cabo and can also board at Marina Cabo San Lucas.

Azimut built her as a flybridge motor yacht with an enclosed wheelhouse. Up top, the flybridge has a lounge and a dining table under a hardtop, with sun pads and loungers aft. The main deck holds a covered dining table aft, a wood-panelled saloon with a media wall, and a separate lounge. Forward, the foredeck sun pads have their own canopy, and the swim platform becomes a beach club. Below are four cabins, among them a master stateroom and a twin.

A captain, a chef and a bartender look after the group, and the chef plans the menu with you. The water toys are a Seabob, kayaks, paddleboards, a lily pad and snorkel gear. She suits birthdays, bachelor parties, proposals, corporate days and family reunions, and she runs the Escape to La Paz trip. What sets her apart is the open top-shelf bar, which pours her namesake, Number Juan Tequila.

Azimut drew her as a flybridge motor yacht: an open upper deck over an enclosed wheelhouse, a main deck with a covered aft deck and a saloon, and a long foredeck. The flybridge is the day's centre: a curved white lounge and a helm station under the hardtop, an oval dining table with folding teak chairs, and further aft a sun pad and teak loungers in the open.

On the main deck the teak aft deck carries a long dining table for a crowd, out of the sun. Inside, the saloon is wood-panelled, with white armchairs and a sofa around a low table and a dining table beyond, and a lounge with a leather sofa and a media wall of shelves and a screen. A bar at the aft end of the saloon, by the glass doors to the aft deck. The wheelhouse sits forward of the saloon with its own helm and bench. On the foredeck, sun pads lie under a canopy, and the swim platform at the stern is where the water toys go in.
