Vive is an 80-foot Dyna Craft motor yacht for a group of up to 18 who want a day on the water with a Jacuzzi and more than one deck to spread across; 15 guests are included in the day rate.

Dyna Craft builds in Tainan, Taiwan, to each owner's own layout, and Vive's is a flybridge yacht on three levels. The aft deck is shaded, with a teak table for lunch; inside, the wood-panelled saloon has a long sofa, with the galley forward. The flybridge carries the helm, sunpads under a bimini and the Jacuzzi, and a second set of sunpads covers the bow. A swim platform at the stern takes swimmers down to the sea, and there is a sound system aboard.

Below are four cabins with six beds, two doubles and two twins, so eight guests can stay aboard overnight.

Beer, soft drinks and water are included. A chef, a jet ski and a Seabob can each be added to the day.

She sails from Marina V&V in Playa Mujeres and suits birthdays, bachelor parties, proposals, family reunions and company days. What stands out is the Jacuzzi up on the flybridge.

Dyna Craft is a yard in Tainan, Taiwan, founded in 1986, that builds each yacht to the layout its owner chooses, so this hull's photographs are the best guide to its spaces. The main deck opens from a shaded aft deck, laid with a teak table and chairs and a cushioned bench across the stern, into a saloon panelled in glossy wood with a long white sofa, a lounge chair and windows down both sides; the galley sits forward of it, under the windscreen.

Up top, the flybridge holds the second helm, sunpads under a canvas bimini and, behind them, a Jacuzzi with seating around it. Teak side decks lead forward to a foredeck of red sunpads, and a swim platform at the stern takes guests down to the water.
