Arrowsmith Bank
Seamount in the Caribbean Sea off Riviera Maya
A submerged bank in the Caribbean, about 22 nautical miles (42 km) east of Cancún and 21 nautical miles (39 km) southeast of Isla Mujeres. It is about 17 nautical miles long and 1.5 to 5 nautical miles wide, with about 16 to 38 m of water on top and a strong current that sets north across it. Sport-fishing boats go there for wahoo and dorado (mahi-mahi).
